At Furniture Americana (NETORM LLC), we take shipping very seriously. Too seriously, probably. We stay up nights worrying whether your sofa will make it to your living room in one piece, while you’re asleep dreaming of how nice it’ll look next to that lamp you never use. Anyway, here’s how this whole thing works.
📦 Processing Time

Orders in stock usually leave our hands within 1–3 business days. We’d love to say “the same day,” but we’re human, and sometimes humans eat lunch.

Made to order items are usually processed in 2-4 weeks. If by chance the item is in stock, we'll process it faster. Probably.
- Once we ship, you’ll get an email with tracking info so you can obsessively refresh the page every 20 minutes, like the rest of us do.

We work with UPS, FedEx, and freight companies who have sworn (under oath, or maybe just a clipboard) to deliver responsibly.

Small items: shipping calculated at checkout. Think of it as the universe reminding you that gravity isn’t free.

Some items include free shipping. We know, it sounds too good to be true, but miracles happen.

Big items (freight): flat rate. The “flat” may feel less flat depending on where you live.

Small stuff: 3–5 business days after processing.

Big stuff (LTL/freight): 7–14 business days. That’s “business days,” not “the 12 days of Christmas.”

🪑 Freight Deliveries (Large Furniture)

Big furniture ships via freight. The freight carrier will call to set up a delivery window, which you’ll inevitably miss because you were in the shower. However, you have you be there!

Curbside delivery only (a.k.a. “Congratulations, it’s on the sidewalk”). Inside delivery may be available for a fee and a promise not to tell our chiropractor.

Inspect your delivery before signing. If it looks like it fell off the truck (literally), either reject it or write it down on the Proof of Delivery. Don’t worry, they’ve heard it before.

Make sure your shipping address is correct. If you type “123 Banana Lane” instead of “123 Banana Avenue,” that’s on you.

We can’t control weather, traffic, or the whims of delivery drivers. Delivery times are hopeful estimates, not contractual guarantees.

If your furniture arrives damaged, take a deep breath, make a note on the delivery slip, and let us know within 48 hours. We’ll fix it — after we’re done stressing about it for another 48.

Shop With Confidence (and Mild Anxiety)
Look, we know furniture shopping is basically a relationship gamble. Sometimes it’s true love, sometimes you wake up one morning and wonder what you were thinking. At Furniture Americana (NETORM LLC), we try to make the breakup as painless as possible. (Well, almost painless. There are fees. And shipping. And boxes. Lots of boxes.)
🚪 Order Cancellations
- You have 2 hours from placing your order to cancel for free. Two hours! That’s barely enough time to second-guess your haircut, but we make it work.
- After that, if the order has started processing, a cancellation fee applies. Because apparently trucks don’t like turning around mid-highway just because you had a dream about a different couch.
⏱ Return Windows
- Change of Mind: You have 5 days after delivery to request a return. Yes, five. Blink and you’ll miss it. A 20% restocking fee plus return shipping apply. Consider it a “furniture indecision tax.”
- Product Issues: If your item arrives broken, defective, or not what you ordered, you have 15 days to let us know. We’ll fix it. (But please don’t wait until month three to mention your bed is missing a leg. By then we’ll assume you’ve just been sleeping diagonally.)
📦 Condition of Returns
- Items must be in original condition and packaging.
- In plain English: if you’ve already hosted a dinner party on the dining table, it’s not “new.”
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
- Made-to-order items. (We made it just for you — we can’t resell your exact “beige but not too beige” vision.)
- Orders outside the mainland U.S. Hawaii, Alaska, Guam… lovely places, terrible for returns.
- Anything labeled final sale. (“Final” as in “forever.”)
🖼 Photo Proof for Damages
If your item shows up looking like it survived a demolition derby, we’ll need evidence:
- 📸 Two photos of the product + packaging
- 📸 One photo of the shipping label
- 📸 One photo of the SKU label
- 📸 Two photos of the actual damage or issue
No photos = no return label. Sorry, our crystal ball’s still on backorder.
💲 Refunds
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, minus shipping and fees.
- 20% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns. (It’s our way of saying “Are you sure next time?”)
- Refunds process in 1–3 business days once we’ve inspected your return. Faster than therapy, slower than instant gratification.
📌 Important Notes
- Delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed. For both small parcels and big freight. In other words: if you need it on a specific day, please light a candle, or let us know!
- Check your shipping address carefully. If you mix up “Street” with “Avenue,” your furniture may end up decorating someone else’s living room.
- Always inspect your order at delivery. If it’s damaged, say so on the Proof of Delivery before signing. Pretending it’s fine and calling us three weeks later doesn’t help anyone (least of all your back).
