At Furniture Americana (NETORM LLC), we take shipping very seriously. Too seriously, probably. We stay up nights worrying whether your sofa will make it to your living room in one piece, while you’re asleep dreaming of how nice it’ll look next to that lamp you never use. Anyway, here’s how this whole thing works.

📦 Processing Time

  • Orders in stock usually leave our hands within 1–3 business days. We’d love to say “the same day,” but we’re human, and sometimes humans eat lunch.

  • Made to order items are usually processed in 2-4 weeks. If by chance the item is in stock, we'll process it faster. Probably.

  • Once we ship, you’ll get an email with tracking info so you can obsessively refresh the page every 20 minutes, like the rest of us do.

đźš› Shipping Methods & Carriers

  • We work with UPS, FedEx, and freight companies who have sworn (under oath, or maybe just a clipboard) to deliver responsibly.

  • Who delivers your item depends on size, weight, and cosmic alignment.

🌎 Shipping Coverage

  • We currently ship to all contiguous U.S. states.

  • If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, we salute your sense of adventure, but it’ll cost a little extra.

  • No international shipping yet — it’s not you, it’s us.

đź’˛ Shipping Costs

  • Small items: shipping calculated at checkout. Think of it as the universe reminding you that gravity isn’t free.

  • Some items include free shipping. We know, it sounds too good to be true, but miracles happen.

  • Big items (freight): flat rate. The “flat” may feel less flat depending on where you live.

⏱ Estimated Delivery Times

  • Small stuff: 3–5 business days after processing.

  • Big stuff (LTL/freight): 7–14 business days. That’s “business days,” not “the 12 days of Christmas.”

  • Expedited shipping? Sure, but only if you ask. Nicely.

  • These are estimates, not prophecies.

🪑 Freight Deliveries (Large Furniture)

  • Big furniture ships via freight. The freight carrier will call to set up a delivery window, which you’ll inevitably miss because you were in the shower. However, you have you be there!

  • Curbside delivery only (a.k.a. “Congratulations, it’s on the sidewalk”). Inside delivery may be available for a fee and a promise not to tell our chiropractor.

  • Inspect your delivery before signing. If it looks like it fell off the truck (literally), either reject it or write it down on the Proof of Delivery. Don’t worry, they’ve heard it before.

📌 Important Notes

  • Make sure your shipping address is correct. If you type “123 Banana Lane” instead of “123 Banana Avenue,” that’s on you.

  • We can’t control weather, traffic, or the whims of delivery drivers. Delivery times are hopeful estimates, not contractual guarantees.

  • If your furniture arrives damaged, take a deep breath, make a note on the delivery slip, and let us know within 48 hours. We’ll fix it — after we’re done stressing about it for another 48.
